Playing Career

Kudu Oberholzer was born in 1974. The Son of Northern Transvaal ( Now Blue Bulls) Captain, Selector and
provisional coach Jan Oberholzer. Playing and enjoying rugby during his school career, he started getting
attention by playing u/21 club rugby for Adelaar RC ( Now Naka Bulls RC  ) at the age of 17 years in 1991. In
1996 he joined the University of Pretoria "Tuks"and played Carlton Cup and Intervarsety until 1999. In this
time he was the only player in the league to played as a loose forward and wing.
In 2000 he Started playing for his beloved community club Natka Bulls RC and played there until 2005. He
also played in 2011 at the age of 37 in the "Teaks Legend" team that won the Carlton Cup 3 division and did
the same in 2013 as a player/coach with a Naka Bulls 3 rd team.
